Chattanooga Make-a-Thon postponed due to growing concerns over COVID-19

After more recent developments with the Coronavirus locally and globally, we have decided to postpone this year’s Make a Mark Chattanooga Make-a-Thon until later in the year. We want to make sure we are responsible stewards to the health of those in attendance and Chattanooga as a whole.

All planning meetings, the Kick Off Party set for March 16th, and the Chattanooga Make-a-Thon on March 28th are postponed. We are working with Bode to choose a date to reschedule.

We will keep the same selected nonprofits and teams of makers, adjusting for availability as needed. We will begin rescheduling planning meetings once we have selected a new make-a-thon date and feel that we can responsibly gather our community together.

We are all very grateful for each and every one of you and want to thank you for your support and understanding. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Best,
Sarah and Alex

For 12 hours, let's make — for good.

Some of our community's biggest problems are solved entirely by volunteers. Problem is, most non-profits don't have the resources to design and develop the kinds of things it takes us a day to create.

For 1 day, we gather the best designers and developers to work on projects for the most impactful organizations in our area.
